Stampin' Up! Happiness Abounds Sketch Challenge

Optional Theme: Inspired by a Book

Who loves creating cards with lots of layers?  It's so fun to mix and match DSP and cardstock!

I chose to use the Stampin' Up! Happiness Abounds Stamps & Dies along with Hues of Happiness DSP to create my card.

My card base is Night of Navy cardstock and using the Deckled Rectangles Dies, started adding all my layers.

This beautiful DSP was also added on the envelope flap.

The flowers and leaves were die cut from the DSP and adhered with dimensionals.  Linen Thread was looped several times and added just under the yellow flower.

Glossy Dots were added around the flower.  The sentiment was stamped using Starry Sky ink.

These layers are so pretty together!  With the Starry Sky cardbase, the next layers are Hues of Happiness DSP, Melon Mambo cardstock, DSP, and the final layer Basic White.  All layers were cut using the Deckled Rectangles Dies.

The DSP inside the card was die cut using the Deckled Dies layered with Basic White with the flower image stamped off once to create a lighter image.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.
I hope I've inspired you.
