It's time for another challenge at...
Global Design Project - Color Challenge #413.
To create my "Harvest of Blessings" card, I used the Stampin' Up! Pick of the Patch Stamp Set & Punch, Deckled Circles Dies, All About Autumn DSP, Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder and Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks.
Basic Black cardstock was used for my card base followed by a layer of the beautiful DSP from the All About Autumn Paper pack.
For the background, I used the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks and placed it over the DSP. I did adhere the mask in place so it wouldn't move around. Next, I stamped the Versamark ink pad over the mask.
The mask was removed and I covered the Versamark areas with Black Embossing Powder and heat set.
The ribbon is the Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon, which I colored with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends (Dark). I tied it in a knot and adhered it it with a Mini Glue Dot on one of the larger pumpkins.
For the strips going across the lower portion of the card, I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock with a layer of Cajun Craze cardstock which was embossed using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
The circle was die cut using the 5th from the center Deckled Circles Dies from Basic Black cardstock.
The pumpkins were inked with Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze inks, stamping with the lighter ink first and using a Sponge Dauber to add the darker color randomly on the stamp image before stamping onto the Very Vanilla cardstock. On the darker pumpkin I stamped Cajun Craze first and added a little Pumpkin Pie with with the Sponge Dauber, just to add a bit of color variation.
The stems were stamped using Memento ink and die cut using the Punch.
Two of the pumpkins were punched out with the Pick of the Patch Builder Punch and the others were fussy cut.
The sentiment was stamped using Memento ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock, and cut at an angle on the left side. On the right, I adhered the smaller pumpkin at the end of the sentiment and adhered them with dimensionals.
DSP was also added on the envelope flap.
Inside my card is Very Vanilla cardstock with a 3/4" strip of DSP along the right.
Two additional pumpkins were added in the lower left.
