Stampin' Up! Creating Connections Simple Stamping Challenge.
Stampin' Up! is offering a new pilot program for new demonstrators (within one year) to attend sessions which are called touchpoints. Each touchpoint has information on growing your Stampin' Up! business with techniques and ideas on using various products, simple card-making, as well as challenges.
For this session, the requirement is to create two cards from the sketch that were shown during the session (sorry, I was unable to locate the sketches to upload on my blog).
These are the "Simple Stamping" cards I created using the Circle Sayings Stamp Set and Winter Meadow DSP.
#SimpleStamping
#CreatingConnectionsSimples
I decided to make each card design using the same stamp set and DSP.
This DSP is the focal point on my cards with such pretty scenery and colors! The card base is Basic White cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink in the lower right.
The circles were punched using the 2 3/8" Circle Punch with the third circle being showcased by adding Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon behind it and adhering in the center with dimensionals.
The embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio.
Inside my card is DSP and Basic White cardstock. The image was punched out using the circle punch, adhered in the lower corner and trimmed along the edges.
For this card I used the Pretty Peacock cardstock. I trimmed the DSP around the deer image to create a square. Ribbon was looped behind the image and adhered onto the card front with dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in the lower right.
Inside my card is Basic White cardstock with a strip of the DSP. To continue the pattern from the front, I added a scrap piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock and flagged it on one end, tucking it behind the DSP.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.
