Libby's Craft Studio: Fall Blessings Card

It's that time of year again! It's time for the Fall Creativate Retreat!

Every three months throughout the year, this group of fabulous ladies (Jackie Bolhuis, Connie Stewart, Brandy Cox, Sharon Armstrong) hold a Retreat with so much inspiration! Not to mention all the fabulous projects they share and all the laughs as well!

I look forward to each retreat and can't wait for the next one before the current one ends!! There are lots of LIVE videos and it's so fun to participate in the chat room! Prizes are awarded after each live event as well.

They offer an Early-Bird registration and if you sign up within these days, you will receive four fabulous fun folds!

Registration is open until the day of the retreat.

Pre-Retreat Challenges are also offered each Monday, leading up to the Retreat. This helps to get your creativity going with these fun challenges.

Once you register for the event, you can join the private FB group where you can post your creations and view all the creativity! This in itself is very inspiring!

The Fall Retreat will be held October 13-14, 2023.

The first Pre-Retreat Challenge is to "Draw Your Background."

Here's what I created using the Stampin' Up! Fruitful Blessings Bundle, Stylish Shapes Dies and All About Autumn DSP.

For my card base, I used Copper Clay cardstock.

The hand-drawn background on the Very Vanilla cardstock was also embossed using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.

On the Very Vanilla cardstock, I used four Stampin' Blends Markers to hand draw the lines in kind of a wavy motion across the cardstock.

The sentiment was stamped using Copper Clay ink, trimmed and flagged on each end and adhered with a dimensional on the right side and adhesive on the left.

The square behind the flowers was die cut using the largest of the Stylish Shapes Dies from the All About Autumn DSP.

The image was stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Memento ink. I used Stampin' Blends Markers to color the image - Copper Clay, Pretty Peacock, Moody Mauve, Mossy Meadow & Daffodil Delight. This was adhered with dimensionals.

Additional leaves were die cut from the DSP and tucked behind the flowers.

2023-25 In Color Jute Trim (Copper Clay) was pulled apart and using two strands, looped them behind the image.

Wink of Stella was brushed on the flower centers.

The flower image was stamped onto the envelope flap and on the front of the envelope as well.

Inside my card is a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock with the flower image stamped in the lower and upper corners using Copper Clay ink.
