Today's card was created for the...
Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #626.
Optional Theme: Patterned Paper
For my "Boo" Halloween card, I used the Stampin' Up! Tricks & Treats and Pick of the Patch Stamp Sets, Nested Essentials Dies, Tricks & Treats Dies along with Them Bones DSP.
For my card base, I used Basic Black cardstock followed by the next layers from the Them Bones DSP.
The strip of DSP on the right was embossed using the Cheery Patterns Embossing Folder.
The "Boo" was die cut using Foam Adhesive Sheets and again using Basic Black cardstock. Simply peel off the top layer and add the black sentiment. When you are sure where you want to place the sentiment, peel off the backing and adhere.
Foam adhesive sheets are so cool for adding dimension.
The two cute little ghosts were die cut using Basic White cardstock. They were tucked behind the rectangle and a single mini dimensional behind each one for a little more dimension.
The rectangle was die cut from the DSP using Nested Essentials Dies. I cut the two corners using the same die with Basic Black cardstock, trimmed to the size I wanted and adhered onto the rectangle.
The Frankenstein was stamped using Granny Apple Green ink and the face image stamped using Memento ink. Next, I die cut the image and adhered with dimensionals.
The embellishments are Glow in the Dark Ghosts. These are so fun!
Inside my card is Basic White cardstock with a strip of DSP along the right. The sentiment is from the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set, stamped using Memento ink and bats were also stamped using Memento ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.
