Stamp Happy Academy is a membership only site where you can post your creations and be inspired by other crafty friends.
The challenge for June is to create a card with TEXTURE.
For my "Birthday" card, I used the Stampin' Up! Hey Chuck Stamp Set, Nested Essentials Dies, Hey Chuck Dies and Earthen Elegance DSP.
The inspiration for my card came from the 2023-2024 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog (Pg. 49).

For my card base, I used Early Espresso Cardstock. The next layer of DSP is from the Earthen Elegance paper pack which was embossed using the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder.
Using the largest banner from Nested Essentials Dies and two coordinating DSP, I die cut the shapes and adhered onto the card front.
The weathervane was die cut from More Dazzle Specialty Paper.
Rustic Metallic Dots embellishments finished off the card.
The fence was stamped three times using Memento ink and colored with Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends Markers. After die cutting the images, they were adhered onto the card front with dimensionals.
The sentiment was also stamped using Memento ink, trimmed and adhered onto the card front with dimensionals.
The sun was die cut from Daffodil Delight Cardstock with the bottom portion tucked behind the fence.
The rooster was colored using Pecan Pie, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Misty Moonlight and Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends markers, die cut and adhered over the fence.

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.

Inside my card is a layer of DSP and Basic White cardstock. The image and sentiment were stamped using Memento ink.
