Masterfully Made Hello

Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge #957.

 

For my "Hello" card, I used the Stampin' Up! Sending Smiles Bundle, Deckled Rectangle Dies along with Masterfully Made DSP.

For my card base I used Berry Burst Cardstock followed by an embossed layer of Bubble Bath Cardstock which was adhered with dimensionals onto the card front.

An Adhesive Sheet was cut to fit behind the Basic White cardstock before die cutting to create a "sticker," making it so much easier to adhere onto the Berry Burst cardstock.

I die cut the shading or solid piece behind "Sending" with Berry Burst cardstock and the word itself in Basic White Cardstock (the piece with the adhesive on it). 

The second portion of the sentiment was stamped using Berry Burst ink and die cut.  Both parts of the sentiment were adhered with dimensionals.

The Bubble Bath Cardstock was embossed using the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder.

The flowers were stamped using Berry Burst ink.  To achieve the lighter flower using the same ink, I simply stamped off once onto scrap paper, then onto the cardstock.  This is a pretty fun technique making it look like you stamped the flowers using two different stamps.

The leaves were stamped using Pretty Peacock ink and the flower centers using Daffodil Delight ink.  The flowers and leaves were die cut.  The bottom of the stem was adhered with liquid adhesive and the rest of the images with dimensionals.

The Berry Burst cardstock strip was stamped using the small flower and Berry Burst ink.

The DSP layer behind the flowers is from the Masterfully Made DSP which was die cut using the Deckled Rectangles Dies.

The finishing touches on my card were adding Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio embellishments as well as Wink of Stella in each of the flower centers.

Don't forget to decorate your envelope!  I added DSP onto the envelope flap.

There are so many other options... add embossed cardstock to envelope flap, stamp on the flap or stamp on the front of the envelope.

Inside my card is a layer of DSP.  The Basic White cardstock was die cut using the Deckled Rectangles Dies as well and the flowers were stamped using Berry Burst ink with Daffodil Delight ink in the centers, then adhered onto the DSP layer, centering.
