Inked & Tiled Card with Free PDF Tutorial

 Global Design Project Color Challenge #397.

For my "Just a Note" card, I used the Stampin' Up! Inked & Tiled Stamp Set along with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder and the gorgeous Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper.

For my card base I used Azure Afternoon Cardstock followed by a layer of Basic White Cardstock and finally the beautiful Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper (Berry Burst).

Can you see the shimmer in the Specialty Paper?  Oh my!  It's beautiful!

I embossed this layer with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder.

The Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (I used Azure Afternoon) was wrapped around the cardstock and tied in a bow.  A Mini Glue Dot was used behind the bow to keep it in place.

The leaf image was stamped using Blueberry Bushel ink and the flowers using Berry Burst ink.  The tiny images on the background were stamped with Azure Afternoon ink.

The sentiment was stamped onto Azure Afternoon cardstock using Blueberry Bushel ink, trimmed and flagged on the left and adhered with adhesive.

Wink of Stella was brushed on the two flowers.

I chose Tinsel Gems 4-Pack (Berry Burst) embellishments to finish off my card.

On the envelope flap I stamped the smaller image in first, second and third generation to create a variety of colors using the same Azure Afternoon ink.

Inside my card is more of the beautiful Shimmer Specialty Paper layered with Basic White cardstock.

The flower image was stamped in third generation using Berry Burst ink.  It's light enough so that you can still write your message over it easily.
