Stampin' Up! Elephant Parade Card

This weeks' challenge is to Case the Designer.

If you're not sure what Casing is:

CASE = Copy and Selectively Edit

Which means that you can take what you like from the design and make it your own.  It might be the stamp set, colors, layout, theme, images - whatever you like that has inspired you to make a card of your own.

I chose the Stampin' Up! Elephant Parade stamps & dies to create my card.

I was inspired by the overall card design and the distressed edge at the top.

I used Basic White cardstock as my card base with Soft Succulent cardstock and finally another layer of Basic White.  The top of the white cardstock was distressed.

The DSP is Stampin' Up! Texture Chic which was added along the bottom of the card and on the envelope flap.
For the embellishments I used Elegant Faceted Gems and placed three in the lower right corner.

The dots in the background are from the Stampin' Up! Perched in a Tree stamp set, inked using Petal Pink.
The elephant was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Smoky Slate & Petal Pink Stampin' Blends.  He was adhered with dimensionals.
The sentiment is also stamped with Memento ink.

The cute little butterflies were stamped using Bermuda Bay ink.

Inside the card is Soft Succulent cardstock with Basic White as the top layer.  A strip of the DSP was added along the bottom and more butterflies were stamped inside the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
