CAS Colours & Sketches Challenges #477

Happy Friday!

Today's card was created for the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenges (#477).

I loved the colors and knew I needed to make a card showcasing these pretty colors and I really wanted to use the gold foil from Stampin' Up!

The card base is Merry Merlot cardstock, layered with the gold foil which was embossed using the Stitched Greenery Die.  I love how striking the leaves images show on the gold foil!  The tag is from Designer Tags Dies.  Another great die set!

The elegant dies on the tag are from the Splendid Stems Dies.  I used Merry Merlot and Night of Navy.

I was trying not to get the glare of myself on the card for this photo... the reason it looks a little wonky.

Simply Elegant Trim in gold was wrapped around the cardstock a couple times and tied in a bow just below the gold embossed sentiment from the stamp set Waves of Inspiration.

A closer look at the beautiful die on gold foil.

Inside the card is Night of Navy cardstock layered with Basic White.  The image was stamped in Merry Merlot from the stamp set Splendid Thoughts.
