Soul Scrappers is having its' annual Christmas Card Challenges in November!
Haven't started your Christmas cards yet? Still thinking on a theme or design? Then Soul Scrappers is just what you need for a variety of awesome inspiration. We're on Facebook and it's easy to join.
As a member of the Soul Scrappers Design Team, I host a Sketch Challenge as well as the One Word Challenge every other month.
But, for the month of November, there are Christmas Card Challenges as well.
Won't you join us for lots of fun inspiration?
And who knows, you just might want to participate in a challenge or two. Prizes are offered each month as well!
This year I am hosting TWO challenges at Soul Scrappers as well as my regular monthly challenges.
Here's my SECOND CHALLENGE:
Create a Christmas card with a REINDEER.
Sounds fun doesn't it? It really is!
This is the card I created using a variety of products.
I found this beautiful deer image, along with the sentiment in my craft stash and knew it would be perfect for this challenge!
I started with the card base in Stampin' Up! Balmy Blue cardstock. The next layer is Stampin' Up! Snowflake Specialty Vellum.
Shading was added around the deer image using a blending brush and Balmy Blue ink.
I also added shading on the envelope flap as well.
I added some shading over the sentiment and finished it off by adhering Stampin' Up! Festive Pearls above and below the sentiment, then this was adhered with dimensionals.
The ribbon is Stampin' Up! Metallic Mesh Ribbon which was wrapped around the Vellum and tied in a knot.
Inside the card is Basic White cardstock which was also shaded lightly around the edges before adhering with liquid adhesive.
I hope you will join us for the November Christmas Card Challenges at Soul Scrappers on Facebook.
It's easy to join.
