Stampin' Up! Celebrate with Tags Fun Fold Shaker Card

 I'm really beginning to love creating shaker cards.  I don't make them very often, but when I do, I really love how cute they are!  And they really are not that difficult to make.  And even more fun when you create a fun fold with a shaker card!

I created this shaker card for the Festive Friday Challenge Blog #FFO116.

And I didn't have to create a "Grandparents Day" card.  I simply had to choose 3 of the inspiration items listed to create my project.

Here's my card choosing these 3 items: Fancy Fold, Hearts, Pearls

I chose Stampin' Up! Celebrate with Tags stamp set and Celebrations Tag Dies along with Gingham Cottage DSP.  The card base is Blushing Bride cardstock.

Hearts were stamped in the corner of the envelope as well as on the background white cardstock behind the tag.

Once the tag was die cut, I only needed to add a window sheet, foam adhesive strips and sequins.  Then fold it up and add ribbon at the top.  The sentiment was stamped with Blushing Bride ink and using paper snips created the banner to add at an angle across the tag.

These dies are so fun to play with!  I added White Seam Binding Ribbon at the top of the tag and finished it off with Iridescent Pearls.  I love the stitching around the opening of the shaker card.

Flip the tag over and this is the inside of the flap.  I added a strip of Basic White cardstock which was stamped off with the hearts and added a large stitched heart over that with a single pearl on the heart.

This is the card fully opened.  Super cute!  I stamped the hearts in Blushing Bride ink then stamped the sentiment in Memento ink.

Two smaller stitched hearts were added in the lower left of the card.

Card Measurements:

Card Base: 7 1/4 x 5 1/2 & 1 1/2 x 4 (hinge strip)

Cardstock - Cut 2: 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 (front & back square)

DSP: 3 x 3, 2 3/4 x 5 1/4 & 4 x 5 1/4 (inside card)

Basic White: 2 1/2 x 5 (inside card to add sentiment)
