Warm Wishes Corner Pop-Up Card

The Fall 2023 Creativate Retreat was AMAZING, as always!!

The Creativate Team consists of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Sharon Armstrong, Jackie Bolhuis, Connie Stewart & Brandy Cox.

This is the first year that I completed all the Pre-Retreat Challenges AND all 8 Challenges as well! And it was so fun to be able to accomplish all the challenges! So, you will be seeing all my projects in the next week or so. I can't wait to share all the fun... and in no particular order.

My next project was created for Connie's Project 1 - Corner Pop-Up Card.

I created my "Warm Wishes" card using the Stampin' Up! Winter Owls Bundle, Stylish Shapes Dies and Earthen Elegance DSP.

I began with Basic White Thick cardstock. The panels of Earthen Elegance DSP were embossed using the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder (Stripes).

The tree trunk was die cut from DSP and adhered with dimensionals. The owl was stamped with Memento ink, die cut and also adhered with dimensionals.

I also added DSP to the two panels inside this pop-up card.

The sentiment was stamped using Pretty Peacock ink onto DSP and die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies. A small Linen Thread bow was added in the upper corner with a Mini Glue Dot.

The embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins.

Wink of Stella was brushed on the entire owl.

The DSP behind the owl was adhered on a same-size piece of Basic White cardstock for additional stability.

To create the pop-up, two circles were die cut with the 2" Circle Punch. Each circle was folded in half and adhered on each side of the score line on the card base while the card is flat.

The back of my pop-up card is pretty plain with an awl and snowflakes stamped with memento ink on the left side, still leaving plenty of room to add a few words.

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.
