It's that time of year again! It's time for the Fall Creativate Retreat!
Every three months throughout the year, this group of fabulous ladies (Jackie Bolhuis, Connie Stewart, Brandy Cox, Sharon Armstrong) hold a Retreat with so much inspiration! Not to mention all the fabulous projects they share and all the laughs as well!
I look forward to each retreat and can't wait for the next one before the current one ends!! There are lots of LIVE videos and it's so fun to participate in the chat room! Prizes are awarded after each live event as well.
They offer an Early-Bird registration and if you sign up within these days, you will receive four fabulous fun folds!
Registration is open until the day of the retreat.
Pre-Retreat Challenges are also offered each Monday, leading up to the Retreat. This helps to get your creativity going with these fun challenges.
Once you register for the event, you can join the private FB group where you can post your creations and view all the creativity! This in itself is very inspiring!
The Fall Retreat will be held October 13-14, 2023.

The 2nd Pre-Retreat Challenge is to create a "Belt & Buckle Card."
Here's what I created using the Stampin' Up! Translucent Florals & So Sincere Stamp Sets, Deckled Circles Dies, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder & Delightful Floral DSP.
This is a super fun card to make!

For my card base, I used Berry Burst cardstock.
The flower was fussy cut from the Delightful Floral DSP.
The circle was die cut using the 2nd from the center Deckled Circles Dies. I added a little color around the edges with a Blending Brush and Berry Burst ink. The sentiment was stamped with the same ink. I also added a little more interest to the "too white to me" circle, by stamping the leaves using Parakeet Party ink randomly on the circle.
Linen Thread was looped into a bow and adhered behind the flower. The flower was adhered with dimensionals. The sentiment overlaps the flower and a single Mini Dimensional was adhered behind tit with adhesive as well.
The embellishments used are the 2022-24 In Color Pearls (the Parakeet Party color).
On the left, inside my card, is a layer of DSP that was embossed using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
On the Basic White cardstock, I stamped the flowers using Berry Burst ink and the leaves using Parakeet Party ink.
The sentiment was stamped using Berry Burst ink as well.
DSP was added on the envelope flap.
