Season's Greetings Mittens Wreath

Maker's Mojo Creative Escape

This fun retreat was held October 20 & 20, 2023. It's a perfect way to get inspiration and see everyone's awesome projects.

Presentation #3 by Audra Monk - Crafty Circles

For my fun "Season's Greetings" card, I used mittens to create my circle.

I used the Celebrate with Tags & Christmas Classics Stamp Sets, Christmas Classics Dies, Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder along with Beary Christmas DSP.

For my card base, I used Balmy Blue cardstock followed by Beary Christmas DSP.

The mittens image is from the Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set. I stamped each mitten using Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Real Red & Crushed Curry inks. The mittens were fussy cut and adhered onto the Basic White cardstock in a circle.

Using the leaf die from the Christmas Classics Stamp Set, the leaves were were die cut using Gold Foil Sheets and tucked behind four of the mittens.

The sentiment is from the Christmas Classics Stamp Set, stamped using Night of Navy ink and to trim around the sentiment, I cleaned off the stamp and placed it onto the stamped sentiment, lining it up and traced around the stamp with a pencil, cut and erased any pencil marks. The sentiment was adhered with dimensionals.

Using Gold Satin Edged Ribbon, I tied a bow for the top of my wreath of mittens and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.

The Basic White cardstock was embossed using Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.

On three of the mittens, I added Adhesive-Backed Snowflake Assortment and layered with Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins in the centers of the snowflakes.

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.

Inside my card is DSP layered with Basic White cardstock. The sentiment is from the Christmas Classics Stamp Set, using Night of Navy ink.

The mittens were stamped using Balmy Blue ink.
