TGIF Theme Challenge #440.
For this fun challenge, I used the Stampin' Up! Tricks & Treats Bundle, Pick of the Patch Stamp Set, Nested Essentials Dies, All About Autumn DSP & Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
A cute matching set featuring candy corn!
For my card base, I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock, followed by the All About Autumn DSP.
The candy corn were die cut from Pumpkin Pie, Basic White and Daffodil Delight cardstock and are from the Tricks & Treats Dies. I love these candy corn dies!
The sentient is from the Pick of the Patch Stamp Set, stamped using Copper Clay ink. The sentiment was die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies. I lightly inked the edges with a blending brush and then added Wink of Stella around the inked edges.
One of the candy corn were adhered with dimensionals, as well as the sentiment.
For the embellishments, I added Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.
Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight cardstock were layered together with the top layer embossed using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
Copper Ribbon (Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack) was used to cover the seams and adhered in place with Mini Glue Dots. Two strips of ribbon were wrapped around and adhered in place with Mini Glue Dots.
For this cute little treat box, I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock and All About Autumn DSP. I die cut the box using the Tricks & Treats Dies.
Three candy corn were adhered onto the box front and one (below the sentiment) was adhere with dimensionals.
The sentiment was die cut using Nested Essentials Dies, inked lightly around the edges and Wink of Stella brushed along the edges and adhere with dimensionals.
The only non-SU product used was a hand-held hole punch. Two strips of ribbon were cut, slipped through the holes and secured by tying the ribbon in two or three knots.
Why two or three knots, you ask? Well, I pulled the knots too tight and created a small knot that slipped right through the holes! So, I had to knot the ribbon once or twice more.
DSP was also added on the envelope flap.
Inside my card is Basic White cardstock with a strip of DSP along the right. I also die cut two additional candy corn to adhere inside.
