Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #628.
As a member of the Design Team, we get not only get to view the sketches ahead of time but to also create our projects before the challenge goes live. Yay!
I decided to use both the sketch AND the inspiration photo to create my "Halloween" card.
I used the Stampin' Up! Pick of the Patch Stamp Set, Pick of the Patch Builder Punch, Deckled Circles Dies, Deckled Rectangles Dies and All About Autumn DSP. This is kind of like a fun fold, which showcases both sides of the DSP.
For my card base I used Copper Clay cardstock and the front of the card featuring both sides of the All About Autumn DSP.
The Vellum was die cut using the Deckled Rectangles Dies and tucked behind the strip of DSP along the left and adhered into place.
The circle was die cut from DSP using the Deckled Circles Dies and adhered with dimensionals.
The pumpkins were stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Pumpkin Pie ink, the stems using Crumb Cake ink, the vines using Copper Clay ink and the leaves using Mossy Meadow ink. The smallest pumpkin was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed using White Embossing Powder.
The largest pumpkin was punched out using the Pick of the Patch Builder Punch and the remaining stamped images were fussy cut.
Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems (Copper Clay) were added as the finishing touch to the card.
The Natural Ribbon is from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack. I pulled the threads to reveal a fringe on the right of the ribbon. On the left, I folded the ribbon back and adhered with Mini Glue Dots. Linen Thread was looped through the opening of the ribbon and tied in a bow.
The sentiment was stamped using Cajun Craze ink, trimmed and adhered onto the ribbon.
Inside my card reveals the other side of the DSP on the left. On the right is Very Vanilla cardstock with two additional pumpkins and stems stamped and fussy cut to add near the sentiment, which was stamped using Cajun Craze ink as well.
DSP was added on the envelope flap.
