Many Blessings Fall Card

Today's card was created for the...

Global Design Project Theme Challenge #415.

For my "Many Blessings" card, I used the Stampin' Up! Fruitful Blessings Stamp Set, Deckled Circles & Stylish Shapes Dies along with the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks.

I began with my card base using Cajun Craze cardstock.

The Basic White cardstock background was created using the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks and Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Wild Wheat, Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow & Pecan Pie inks. Each color was added randomly to create a multi-color effect on some of the leaves.

On each side of the cardstock, I wrapped the Gold Satin Edged Ribbon. I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere the ribbon in place.

Using the Gold Adhesive-Backed Glimmer Paper, I cut 1/4" strips to add onto the center of each ribbon.

Finally, I adhered this onto the card front with dimensionals.

The embellishments are the Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

To create these beautiful sunflowers, I started with blending brushes and Wild Wheat ink, brushing it only in the center portion of the flower and then added the Crushed Curry ink. The centers of the flowers were first lightly colored with Pecan Pie ink and then the darker color of Cajun Craze ink.

For the leaves, I added Old Olive ink at the tops of the leaves and brushed Mossy Meadow ink over the remaining leaf.

Linen Thread was looped twice and adhered behind the larger flower and adhered with dimensionals onto the die cut circle.

The flowers and leaves were fussy cut and adhered onto a Cajun Craze cardstock circle that was die cut using Deckled Circles Dies.

The sentiment was stamped using Cajun Craze ink and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered with dimensionals.

Continuing the background, I did the same with on the envelope flap.

Inside my card I wanted to continue with the stenciling and more leaves along the right with a thin strip of the gold adhesive glimmer paper.

In the lower left, I stenciled a single flower.
