Slimline Card & Awash in Beauty

 Happy Friday everyone!

I hope you make it a fabulous day!

My project for today is a slimline card featuring the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper from the True Beauty Suite.  This is a gorgeous suite!

The Suite

 includes: Awash in Beauty 12x12 DSP, True Beauty Stamps and Organic Beauty Dies.

The slimline card measures 8 1/2 x 7 and scored at 3 1/2.  I used Merry Merlot for the card base.  Then I created a mat with Granny Apple Green at 3 3/8 x 8 3/8.  

The top layer is DSP measuring 3 1/4 x 8 1/4.

I stamped floral images on the envelope, stamping in full ink and then stamping off to create the lighter images.  A rectangle from Merry Merlot cardstock using the Rectangle Stitched Dies was added on the right side of the card, just because I felt it needed something solid behind the flowers.

I cut Linen Thread and the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and keeping them together tied a bow and left the ends hanging down the card.

I used Merry Merlot for the lattice die and cut it at angles and also cut a piece to extend the lattice the whole length of the card.  where they join together doesn't show because of the flower arrangement and the rectangle cardstock.

The sentiment was stamped in Merry Merlot and adhered with dimensionals.

The the fun part... stamping all the flowers!  I used Mossy Meadow, Polished Pink, Balmy Blue, Merry Merlot and Calypso Coral inks for the flowers and stamping off once to create lighter images.  The leaves were stamped the same way.  Once I had the flowers arranged to what looked good to me, I tucked leaves in around the flowers.

I finished my card by adding Gilded Gems.

I thought it would be cool to continue to lattice die on the inside of the card and finally I added flowers in the upper corner which matches the envelope.  The Basic White Cardstock measures 8 1/4 x 3 1/4.
