Stampin' Up! Featuring Abigail Rose

Today I have to share the beautiful Abigail Rose products and the card I created.  Everything in this Suite is so awesome!  Love, love, love it.

Of course, I usually have a hard time to stick to only one Suite and find myself reaching for other products to complete my project.  But that's ok.  Mixing it up is sometimes good.

I started off with coordinating cardstock, Petal Pink as my card base, for a slimline card.  I've always loved creating slimline cards but sometimes struggle trying to make the long space work, but I'm quite pleased with how this card turned out.

A flower image was stamped on the envelope because it simply needed it.

After stamping at the top and bottom, there's still plenty of room for a sentiment.

Petal Pink ribbon was folded under the sentiment.

Quatrefoil Tile embossing folder was used for the pink cardstock strip.  Of course, the strip of cardstock is longer than the embossing folder, so I embossed one side to the center, then flipped it around and embossed the other side.  I knew there would be a "line" where the embossing was done both ways, but not to worry, the stamped image covers it all nicely.

I decided to make the floral arrangement larger by adding another flower from the stamp set and another leaf sprig and adhered with dimensionals.
I contemplated if I should use Stampin' Blends to color the image, but then decided against it because I really love the way it looks without it.

A few stand alone dies are so intricate and delicate but really add so much to the card.

The leaves were slightly lifted up to add more dimension.
