Hello and welcome to my blog!
The card I've created for today is all in blues. But they're all "happy" blues, so that's good, right? :)
The card base is Blueberry Bushel... a very pretty retired color. The silver foil was embossed using the Hive 3D embossing folder. If you don't have this folder, this should be on your list. It's an awesome embossing folder and adds so much dimension on your card.
I then added the Waves of the Ocean DSP and the sunflower die in Blueberry Bushel really stands out against the DSP. I created three circles with the silver trim and added that in the center of the sunflower. The sentiment covers where the silver trim meets.
The envelope flap was stamped with the leaf. The card was finished off by adding Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels... because every card needs a little bling!
Because the card front has a lot of detail, I kept the inside of the card simple by adding a single leaf stamp in the lower left.
A closer look at the silver trim for the sunflower center.
The silver foil was used for this leaf die, which fit perfectly on the stitched rectangle below the sunflower.
Dimensionals were used to adhere the sentiment.
Card Measurements:
Cardstock base: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Silver foil: 5 1/4 x 4
DSP: 3 3/4 x 3 1/2
Stitched rectangle die
Inside card: Basic White: 5 1/4 x 4
Thanks for stopping by today!
