It's March! And Easter will be here before we know it! So, with that being said, you will be seeing a rash of Easter cards posted. At least, until I get the Easter cards out of my system! Ha!

Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #434.
My Easter card features the Stampin' Up! Excellent Eggs Bundle, Scalloped Contours Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder and a baby wipe technique.
Bubble Bath cardstock was used as my card base (even though it does look a little purplish in this photo).
The Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder and adhered onto the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the baby wipe technique, I began with a sheet of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
Using a baby wipe for each color, fold it up three or four times. You can either add re-inkers to your glass mat or directly onto the baby wipe, squeezing out several drops.
Keep in mind, the more drops you add to the baby wipe, the darker the ink will be. Start light, and you can always add more if you want a darker color.
Next, swipe one color onto the watercolor paper at an angle. Repeat with each color.
It works best with at least three different colors.
Have fun and experiment with different colors! It's a little messy, but oh so fun!
For my project, I used Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lolly re-inkers.
Then I die cut two squares with Stylish Shapes Dies.
The top egg was die cut several time, with Lemon Lolly, Flirty Flamingo and Basic White cardstock. I mixed up the pieces and added them on the egg and adhered in place on the back with a piece of tape.
This egg was also die cut several times with Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath cardstock and mixed them up to add different colors into the cut out places.
So fun! Just think of how many different colors you can use, by mixing and matching all the pieces!
The sentiment was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink and die cut with Scalloped Contours Dies.
To add a little more interest to the card, I decided to thread the twine, with a needle, through the holes, using one color on each side and tying a bow at one end. The sentiment was then adhered onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots embellishments were the finishing touches on my card.
Inside my card is Basic White with a left over scrap of the watercolor paper along the right.
Another egg was added along with a cute little bunny stamped with Memento ink.
The sentiment was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink.
