Today I'm sharing another Easter card for the...
Festive Friday Challenge #155.
From the above list, I used Yellow, Eggs, Happy Sentiment.
Lemon Lolly cardstock was used for my card base with layers from Lighter Than Air DSP. These layers were adhered onto the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Before adhering the DSP layers to the card base, Linen Thread was wrapped around twice and tied in a bow.
Embellishments used are Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins (the Balmy Blue ones).
The Easter eggs were stamped on Basic White with Memento ink and colored with Balmy Blue, Lemon Lolly, Pool Party, Fresh Freesia and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Markers. The eggs were fussy cut and some were adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and others with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Easter Bunny Stamp Set, stamped with Memento ink, trimmed and cut at an angle on each end. One Easter egg was adhered on the right of the sentiment.
The large Easter egg was die cut using Excellent Eggs Dies (the 2nd largest die) with Balmy Blue cardstock. The egg was then embossed with Fun Patterns Embossing Folder. Using a Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink, I lightly added color around the edges. The egg was adhered on the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The bunny was stamped with Memento ink, fussy cut and adhered slightly behind the top of the sentiment and adhered onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Inside my card is Basic White with a strip of DSP along the right.
The sentiment is from the Excellent Eggs Stamp Set, stamped with Memento ink, as well as the partial bunny image.
DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.
