Poetic Expressions Make a Wish

My card for today was created for...

The Paper Players Theme Challenge #671.

I was inspired by the soft colors, mainly the pinks, and birthday images which inspired me to create a birthday card using pinks with the sentiment on a banner.

So, for my "Make a Wish" card, I used Stampin' Up! Hooray for Surprises Bundle (stamps & dies), Stylish Shapes Dies, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder & Poetic Expressions DSP.

To begin, Basic White cardstock was used as my card base.  The Bubble Bath cardstock was embossed using Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and adhered onto the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The flower was stamped with Bubble Bath ink and die cut.  The leaves were die cut using Moody Mauve cardstock and tucked behind the flower and adhered onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

A strip of Moody Mauve cardstock was adhered across the center of the card.

Two coordinating DSP were adhered onto Basic White cardstock and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Wink of Stella was brushed on the flower center for a little shimmer.

Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (Bubble Bath ribbon) was wrapped around the center, covering the seams.  A small bow was tied and adhered with Mini Glue Dots.

The sentiment was stamped with Moody Mauve ink and die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies.  Two Stampin' Dimensionals were added on the left of the sentiment and adhered below the bow.

Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins finish off my card.

Inside my card is DSP layered with Basic White.  The sentiment was stamped using Moody Mauve ink and the small flowers using Bubble Bath ink.

DSP was also adhered onto the envelope flap and trimmed.
