Stampin' Up! Creativity Now Cards

Stampin' Up! held an online event for Demonstrators on Saturday, June 24, 2023 called Creativity Now.

This is a fun event showcasing a particular bundle to create fabulous cards with tips and techniques as well.

The focus for this event was using the Translucent Floral Bundle.  Three cards were made.  The measurements were given ahead of time with the idea that we would craft along with Stampin' Up! demonstrators as they explained and created each card.

While I made each of the cards as demonstrated, I also wanted to make alternate cards using the same Bundle.

For my first card, I used Wild Wheat Cardstock for my card base with another layer of Wild Wheat which was adhered with dimensionals onto the card front.

On the background, the twigs were stamped using Wild Wheat ink.

The leaves were stamped twice using Garden Green ink and die cut.  They were adhered with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! Hope You Know Stamp Set, stamped using Wild Wheat ink and die cut using Something Fancy Dies.

The sentiment says "thinking of you today" but I didn't want the "today" so I put a piece of scotch tape over it, inked it up, removed the tape and stamped onto Basic White Cardstock.

Linen Thread was looped a couple of times and adhered behind the sentiment with Seal+ adhesive with a dimensional on the right and liquid adhesive on the left.

Embellishments are 2023-25 In Color Dots.

Inside my card is a layer of Basic White Cardstock.  The leaves were stamped using Garden Green ink in the lower and upper corners.

For my second card, I used Berry Burst Cardstock for my card base.

The card base was stamped with the leaves image using Berry Burst ink.

Using two of the Deckled Rectangles Dies, held together evenly around all edges with post it tape, die cut, which will give you a frame and the center solid piece.

On the larger piece of Basic White cardstock, stamp the larger flower image using Berry Burst ink and the smaller flower using Lost Lagoon ink.

Stamp the stems and leaves with Pretty Peacock ink.

Next, have your Clear Embossing Powder ready and stamp the same two flower images and the leaves onto Vellum Cardstock.  Add the clear embossing powder and heat set.  After the vellum cools down, die cut the images and adhere them over the stamped images with Mini Glue Dots.

The sentiment was stamped using Berry Burst ink and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.  Linen Thread was looped twice and adhered behind the sentiment with Seal+ adhesive and adhered with dimensionals onto the card front.

I was hoping to catch more of the shine from the embossed vellum in this photo.  It really is super cool in person!

For the embellishments I used Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio.

Inside my card is a layer of Basic White cardstock.  I stamped the twigs using Lost Lagoon ink, stamping off once then stamping onto the cardstock.  The flower and sentiment were stamped using Berry Burst ink.  The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set.

For my third card, I used lost of Basic White Cardstock.

For the flowers, I used Vellum Basics Specialty Paper.  The dotted one for the flowers and the leaves one for the leaves.

Using my Stampin' Blends Markers (Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist & Daffodil Delight), I colored the Vellum on one side, let it dry, then die cut.  The flowers were adhered together with Mini Glue Dots.

The leaves were stamped using Granny Apple Green ink and die cut.

The embellishments are Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls.

The first layer was embossed using the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder (the splatters one).

The sentiment is from the Hope You Know Stamp Set, stamped on another piece of Basic White using Berry Burst ink and die cut using Deckled Rectangles Dies.

Each of the layers were adhered with dimensionals.

For inside my card, I stamped the branches using Granny Apple Green ink and the flower using Berry Burst ink.
