PRE-TEAM MEETING JULY MYSTERY STAMPING CHALLENGE
Each month there is Mystery Stamping Challenge offered for members only in a Private Facebook Group to post our creations before our team meeting. A random prize is drawn for participation. It's a fun time to share what we make and view everyone else's cards. It's amazing how each card is different and it's so fun to see all the variations of these cards.
I try to participate each month, but sometimes time just get away with me!
This card was so fun to create! I used the Stampin' Up! By My Side Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Dies and Brights DSP to create my "Friends" fun fold card.

For my card base, I used Azure Afternoon Cardstock. Brights DSP was layered onto coordinating cardstock (Daffodil Delight).
Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (Azure Afternoon) was wrapped around the cardstock/DSP layers and tied in a bow and adhered onto the card front with dimensionals.
Linen Thread was wrapped around the center of the bow and tied in another bow.
The bows were held in place with a Mini Glue Dot.
Using Stylish Shapes Dies (the 2nd largest square), was die cut from Vellum Cardstock and embossed using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
The sentiment was stamped using Azure Afternoon ink onto Basic White cardstock and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies. The die was placed closer to the right of the sentiment and cut off on the left and adhered with dimensionals.
The image was stamped with Memento ink and colored using Stampin' Blends Markers.
The dog colored with Pecan Pie, his nose with Basic Black.
For the little boy, I colored his hair with Wild Wheat, Shirt with Daffodil Delight, Shorts with Azure Afternoon and his shoes with Pecan Pie.
There are no dies with this stamp set, so I fussy cut the images. It's pretty simple fussy cutting.
I decided to have the cute little dog on a leash that the boy is holding, so I colored the Linen Thread with Azure Afternoon Stampin Blends. I carefully cut a little slit near the dog's ear using the Take Your Pick Crafter Tips (the cutting blade), just large enough to get the Linen Thread through. I wrapped it around the dog's neck to mimic a collar and adhered with a Mini Glue Dot. I also added
another Mini Glue Dot behind the boy's hand, leaving the thread hanging on one end.
The dog and his boy were adhered onto the Vellum with dimensionals and then additional dimensionals were adhered behind the Vellum (only where the images were) and adhered onto the card front.

When the card is opened up, these two flaps are revealed, where the two strips of DSP were added.
Another dog was stamped, fussy cut and colored in the lower corner, and adhered with adhesive.

When the two flaps are opened up, it reveals the inside of the card, full of fun colors!
The coordinating DSP strips were added inside the two flaps.
The center also has coordinating DSP with a layer of Basic White cardstock.
To add more fun to the card, I decided to add three more of the cute little dogs!
Here's a closer look. I colored all the dogs the same, using Pecan Pie and Basic Black Stampin' Blends Markers.

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.
