Libby's Craft Studio: Delightfully Eclectic Birthday Card

Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #616.

For my "Birthday" card I used the Stampin' Up! Inked & Tiled & Timeless Arrangements Stamp Sets, Timeless Arrangements Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies & Delightfully Eclectic DSP.

For my card base, I used Fresh Freesia cardstock followed by DSP from the Delightfully Eclectic Paper Pack. Using a blending brush and Fresh Freesia ink, lightly added color around the edges of the DSP before adhering onto the card base.

A strip of Fresh Freesia cardstock goes across the center with a layer of DSP.

The circle is from the Stylish Shapes Dies (largest die), die cut from Fresh Freesia cardstock. Using a blending brush and Fresh Freesia ink, I lightly added some color around the edges of the die cut.

The sentiment is from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set, stamped using Fresh Freesia ink and die cut from the Timeless Arrangements Dies and tucked behind the smaller flower.

The flowers were cut from the DSP. The larger center flower was layered with a slightly smaller flower.

For each flower, I added ink onto each flower petal with a blending brush. Next, I curled the petals down using a bone folder.

Two of the smaller flowers were also embossed using Basics 3D Embossing Folder and the petals curled down with a bone folder.

Glittered Organdy Ribbon was colored with Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends Markers and looped it to create the illusion of a bow and adhered onto the circle (I didn't tie the ribbon into an actual a bow, as the knot in the center created too much dimension).

The larger doubled flower was adhered over the looped ribbon. The two smaller flowers tucked slightly behind the larger flower.

For the flower centers, I added Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls.

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.

The DSP layer was lightly colored with ink around the edges using Fresh Freesia ink and a Blending Brush and adhered inside the card.

The Basic White Layer was adhered, centering. The sentiment is from Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set, stamped using Fresh Freesia ink.

Two additional flowers were fussy cut, adding a little color on each petal and adhered by lining the edge even with the DSP so it overlaps onto the Basic White.
