Two Cards & New Products Now Available

 So, it has been awhile!

The New Year came in with a bang for me with Covid knocking me down since Jan 2nd!

That's the reason it has been very quiet on my blog!

I'm finally feeling like I can function again.  Definitely not back to normal, but better than the first week in January!

Today I'm sharing two cards which are challenges that I've entered from the Jan-Apr 2023 New Catalog Kickoff Party on Facebook from Jan 5th to the 19th.  It's kinda late in the game, but you had to register to play along.

The 1st Card Challenge is a Card Sketch.

Using the Stampin' Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set and the Favored Flowers DSP, This is the card I created.

I started with the card base in Calypso Coral cardstock with the next layer the beautiful Favored Flowers DSP.

Two strips of DSP were then added with a layer of Vellum on the left.

The embellishments are Iridescent Pastel Gems.

The beautiful flowers were die cut from the DSP.

Linen Thread was looped around once and adhered in the upper portion of the die cut flower.

Dimensionals were added behind the die cut flower.

The sentiment was stamped onto DSP using Calypso Coral ink and adhered with liquid adhesive on the left side and one dimensional on the right. 

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.

Inside the card is Basic White cardstock with a smaller die cut flower adhered in the lower corner.

The 2nd Card Challenge is a Color Challenge.

The colors are Balmy Blue, Night of Navy & Granny Apple Green.

I used the Stampin' Up! Playing in the Rain bundle along with Country Bouquet stamp set and Rain or Shine DSP to create my fun card.

For my card base I used Night of Navy cardstock with the next layer from the Rain or Shine DSP.

The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! Country Bouquet stamp set, stamped using Night of Navy ink and adhered with dimensionals.  The die cut used is from Stylish Shapes Dies.

The kite was die cut from Granny Apple Green cardstock and I added a splash of sparkle with Wink of Stella.  The kite was adhered with liquid adhesive in the tail with a single dimensional behind the kite.

The Night of Navy strip of cardstock across the center was embossed using the Raindrops Embossing Folder.  Wink of Stella was added on each raindrop.

The circle die cut is from Stylish Shapes Dies.  The bunny was stamped with Memento ink and his jacket colored with Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends markers.  The puddle was colored using Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends with Wink of Stella added on the puddle.

Liquid Adhesive was used on the bottom of the image and dimensionals added behind the bunny.

The embellishments are Pastel Sequins.

Hoping to catch some of the sparkle from the Wink of Stella added on the kite, embossed raindrops and the puddle.

The raindrops DSP was added on the envelope flap.

Inside the card is Basic White cardstock with the flower image stamped using Memento ink and colored using Night of Navy, Balmy Blue & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.
