Stampin' Up! Country Bouquet & Adorable Owls

 Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #590.

I used the Stampin' Up! Country Bouquet & Adorable Owls stamp sets along with the Country Floral Lane & Country Gingham DSP to create my Valentine's card.

For my card base I used Mint Macaron cardstock with a DSP layer.

The sentiment was stamped with Mint Macaron ink and flagged on one end.  The left side was tucked behind the heart.

The Iridescent Pastel Gems are so pretty!  I went a little wild and added seven on my card!

The die cut circle is from the Layering Circles Dies.

The heart was created using two-step stamping.  I started with one stamp and Mint Macaron ink for the leaves stamp and then for the second stamp used Petal Pink ink.  The heart was fussy cut.

Using a blending brush and Petal Pink ink, I lightly added color around the circle die and the fussy cut heart.

This cute little owl was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Petal Pink and Mint Macaron inks.  Wink of Stella was added on the white part of the owl's eyes and on the tiny circle in each eye.

He/she was adhered with dimensionals.

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.  No naked envelopes here!

Inside my card is DSP layered with Basic White cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped with Mint Macaron ink and the tiny hearts with Petal Pink ink.
