Stampin' Up! Painted Background Card

 Global Design Project Color Challenge #377.

This color combo is such a pretty and soft color palette.

I decided to get out my Water Painters and ink pads and create my own background using the three colors above and the Stampin' Up! Good Feelings stamp set.

I used Basic White cardstock for my card base.

Using my Water Painters and Balmy Blue, So Saffron & Granny Apple Green inks, I created the background by simply brushing the water painter on the ink pad and squeezing out a little water from it and brushed it along the Thick Basic White cardstock.

Balmy Blue/White Variegated Ribbon was wrapped around the cardstock and tied in a bow.  I held the bow in place with a single Mini Glue Dot.

This is a super quick and easy technique which adds such a fun background for your card.

I finished off my card by adding the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed using Black Embossing Powder.

I also did the same technique on the envelope flap as well.

I also added a few lines of the inks inside my card.  This adds a fun surprise when the card is opened.
