Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #653.
For my "Christmas" card, I used Stampin' Up! Frosted Forest Bundle, Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, Countryside Corners Dies, Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder & Gold Mercury Vellum Specialty DSP.
My card base is Basic White with another layer of Basic White which was embossed using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
Night of Navy ink and a Blending Brush was used to lightly add color around the edges, which made the snowflakes really pop!
Gold Mercury Vellum was adhered along the bottom of the Basic White. Night of Navy Glittered Ribbon added a nice touch of sparkle across the center of the cardstock. This was then adhered on the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The Night of Navy was die cut using Countryside Corners Dies, embossed with the same embossing folder and with the White Craft ink, lightly pressed the pad onto the raised embossed areas so the snowflakes would show up more.
Two sets of trees were die cut using Frosted Forest Dies. Wink of Stella was brushed on all the tree branches to add a little shimmer on the trees.
The sentiment (from Greetings of the Season Stamp Set) was stamped below the trees on the white space with Night of Navy ink.
The tree die cuts were overlapped and adhered on the die cut shape with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the ends trimmed.
The die cut shape was then adhered in the center of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Embellishments are Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.
Inside my card is a Basic White layer with a strip of Gold Mercury Vellum along the bottom.
The sentiment is from Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, stamped with Night of Navy ink.
And, I had to add this beautiful Vellum on the envelope flap!
