Winter Greetings Card

My card for today was created, as a member of the Design Team, at...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #654

For my "Winter Greetings" card, I used Stampin' Up! Winterly Tree Tops Bundle, Sparkling Snowflakes Stamp Set, Nested Essentials Dies, Nests of Winter DSP, Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP & Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty DSP along with Gold Foil Sheets.

I began with Basic White as my card base with a lovely layer of the Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty DSP.

A thin strip of DSP was adhered near the bottom of the card.

The background shape behind the bird was die cut from Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP using Nested Essentials Dies (largest shape).

The bird was die cut from Nests of Winter DSP. There was no need for me to stress out about how to color the bird! Yay!

The wreath was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive & Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends Markers and die cut.

The bird and wreath were adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Additional pine branches were die cut from Mossy Meadow and Gold Foil Sheets and tucked behind the wreath.

The sentiment is from Sparkling Snowflakes Stamp Set, stamped with Old Olive ink. The stamp with cleaned and taken off the stamp block and placed over the stamped word. Using a pencil, I traced around the photopolymer stamp, fussy cut and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Two strands of Linen Thread were tied in a bow and adhered just below the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.

Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems are the finishing touches on my card.

Another strip of Specialty DSP was adhered along the bottom of the Basic White layer.

The sentiment is from Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, stamped with Old Olive ink.

The cute little bird was fussy cut from DSP.

DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.
