I'm sharing another project today which was created for the Creativate Summer 2024 Retreat which was held July 26 & 27, 2024.
For my "Best Friend Ever" card, I used the Whitewash technique. A super fun technique, but you need a little patience waiting for steps to dry!
I used Stampin' Up! Lovely & Sweet Stamps & Dies, Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP, Timber 3D Embossing Folder along with Embossing Powder, Water Painters and Ink Refills.
I wasn't sure about this technique, but after watching each step taken by Brandy Cox, I knew it would be fun to at least give it a try.
This is actually my second attempt. The first try, well, we won't go there. I'm calling it my "practice" try!
Anyhow, my card base is Pool Party with layers of Basic White and Thoughtful Designs Specialty DSP. The center focal point is Basic White and Pool Party which was embossed using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and adhered on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The image was adhered on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink, trimmed and flagged on each end. Linen Thread was tied in a bow and adhered behind the sentiment then adhered on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Iridescent Faceted Gems finish off my card.
Inside my card is a strip of DSP adhered on the Basic White layer.
DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.
