Standing Christmas Wishes Project with Center Swinging Card

Maker's Mojo Creative Escape

This fun retreat was held October 20 & 20, 2023. It's a perfect way to get inspiration and see everyone's awesome projects.

For my "Christmas Wishes" hanging card, I used the Stampin' Up! Festive Fun Stamp Set along with Traditions of St. Nick DSP and Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder.

For the base of my "holder", I used Real Red and Basic White cardstock.

The "hanging" part was created by wrapping DSP around a straw. A hole punch was used at the top of the center card and tied at the top using Silver Trim from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack.

For the background, behind the Santa, I embossed the DSP using the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder and using my White ink pad, gently brushed it over the raised portions of the embossing so it would show more.

The Santa was fussy cut from the DSP and adhered with dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped using Real Red ink, trimmed and flagged on each end and also adhered with dimensionals.

The embellishments are from the Sequins Trio (white).

When the center card is opened, the sentiment is stamped using Real Red ink and the tree was fussy cut from the DSP.

This was such a fun project that I was quite skeptical to make, but in the end, I love the results!

It stands up well on its own and is just plain cute to display!
