Soul Scrappers November Christmas Card Challenges.
Soul Scrappers is a private group on Facebook. It's very easy to become a member. Once you're a member, you can view all the awesome projects and you can also participate in our monthly challenges. Each month there are six challenges along with prizes offered to one random winner for each of the challenges.
Each November, along with our regular challenges, we also have six Christmas Card challenges. This is a great time to get those cards made!

The 1st Christmas Card Challenge I'm hosting, as a member of the Design Team, is to add the word "Joy" on your card.
Here's what I created using the Stampin' Up! Jolly Words & Trucking Along Stamp Sets, Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder and Shining Christmas Specialty DSP.
For my card base, I used Mossy Meadow cardstock. The next layer is Basic White Cardstock and Cherry Cobbler cardstock which was embossed using the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. The top layer is the Shining Christmas Specialty DSP which was adhered with dimensionals.
For the focal point, I layered Mossy Meadow and Basic White cardstock.
The image is from Jolly Words Stamp Set and colored using Lemon Lime Twist, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, #600 and Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blends Markers.
To create color on the letters "J" and "Y" I used Sponge Daubers and Cherry Cobbler ink and for the wreath I added color with Mossy Meadow ink. Next, I used the Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends Marker in a darker shade to color the leaves for a little more dimension on the wreath.
To color the two cute little elves, I used Memento ink and added the ink with a sponge dauber.
The embellishments on the wreath and Christmas ornament is Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins.
Gold Trim was tied in a small bow and adhered at the top of the wreath with a Mini Glue Dot.
Gold Trim was also wrapped around the DSP twice.
This beautiful DSP was also added on the envelope flap.
Inside the card is Basic White cardstock. The sentiment is from Trucking Along Stamp Set, stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink with a 3/4" strip of DSP along the right.
