Stampin' Up! Spring Themed Card

 Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge #507.

What says Spring better than an Easter bunny and tulips!

I used the Stampin' Up! Easter Bunny stamp set and Abigail Rose DSP, along with Stylish Shapes Dies & All That Dies to create my Spring card.

For my card base I used Crumb Cake cardstock followed by Very Vanilla cardstock layer and finally the Abigail Rose DSP.

The sentiment was stamped using Early Espresso ink and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.

Wink of Stella was added on the bunny's tail.

The bunny was stamped with Memento ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock, fussy cut and adhered with dimensionals.  I did add a little color on his ears and nose with a Petal Pink Stampin' Blends marker.

The carrot was colored using Pumpkin Pie & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends markers.

Using my Paper Snips, I made a small cut above the bunny paw and adhered the carrot within with liquid adhesive.  This made it more realistic to me that the bunny was actually holding the carrot.

The embellishments are Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

Linen Thread was wrapped around the left side of the card twice and tied in a bow.

The vellum circle is from the Vellum Basics Speciality Paper and die cut using All That Dies.

Inside my card is Very Vanilla cardstock with a strip of DSP along the right.

The sentiment was stamped using Early Espresso ink.  The cute little bird was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Balmy Blue and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends.

The DSP was NOT colored and I really wanted this card to have a Spring-like look.

So, I got out my Stampin' Blends markers and colored all the flowers and leaves on the cards front, the strip inside the card and the envelope flap.  I used Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo.
