Cottage Rose Birthday Card

 Global Design Project Case the Designer Challenge #384.

I used the Stampin' Up! Cottage Rose bundle, Stylish Shapes Dies along with Delicate Desert DSP to create my Birthday card.

I began with my card base using Basic White cardstock with the next layer from Delicate Desert DSP.

I used two sizes from the Stylish Shapes Dies to create my circle.

Linen Thread was looped twice and Mini Glue Dots added to the center.  Using my Take Your Pick Tool, I tucked the center of the thread just under the flower.

The sentiment was stamped using Memento ink and adhered with a Mini Dimensional on the left and liquid adhesive on the right.

The leaves and flower images were colored with a variety of Stampin' Blends markers.

The flower was colored using Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron & Petal Pink Markers.  Next I used the Color Lifter marker to lighten up some spots.  And finally I went over the colors again to blend a bit more.

The leaves were colored using Old Olive and Soft Sea Foam Markers.  I used the Color Lifter on the leaves as well.

The flower image was adhered with dimensionals and the two die cut leaves were adhered with liquid adhesive.

I finished off my card by adding Iridescent Pastel Gem embellishments. 

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.

Inside my card is a Basic White layer with a 3/4 inch strip of DSP along the bottom.  The leaf was stamped in the upper right with Memento ink.
