Stampin' Up! Lucky Clover Card

 Soul Scrappers March Challenge.

This is an EXTRA Challenge which is to create a layout, card, canvas, bookmark, etc., relating to St. Patrick's Day.

Soul Scrappers is a Private Group on Facebook.  It's very easy to join and we would love to have a few more members joining in our challenges!

Each month there are around 6 or 7 challenges with a variety of themes.  There is sure to be one or two that you would love to join in.

There are Sketch Challenges, Mystery Bag Challenges, Color Challenges, One Word Challenges, Pick 3 Challenges and Tic Tac Toe Challenges.

And occasionally there is a bonus challenge.

Each challenges offers a prize.  Who doesn't love to receive happy mail!

Now, here's the card I made.

I know, St. Patrick's Day is over, but I created this card BEFORE the 17th and am just now uploading it!  Better late than never, right!

But... the challenges on Soul Scrappers are running for the whole month.

To create my card I used the Stampin' Up! Lucky Clover Stamp set & Punch along with Dandy Designs DSP.

I began with my card base in Basic White cardstock with the next layer Night of Navy cardstock and finally the DSP layer.

Lots of layers going on for this card beginning with Night of Navy, Basic White and DSP.

The sentiment was stamped using Granny Apple Green ink.  Dimensionals were added only on the far right and far left because of the dimension already created from all the layers.

The clover was also stamped using Granny Apple Green, cut using the Lucky Clover Punch and adhered with dimensionals.

The background was stamped with the tiny clovers for more interest on the background.

The embellishments are Pastel Sequins and the ribbon is Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon, wrapped around once and tied in a bow.

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.

Inside my card is a layer of Basic White with the tiny clovers stamped in two corners and the sentiment stamped using Granny Apple Green.
