Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Card

Global Design Project Color Challenge #373.

This is such a pretty color combo!  I couldn't resist using the Stampin' Up! Forever Fern & Charming Sentiments stamp sets to create my card.

I chose Tahitian Tide cardstock for my card base.  The next layer is Basic White cardstock.

These beautiful images were also stamped on the envelope flap and inside the card.

I absolutely love these colors, but I think I already mentioned that.  And paired with this awesome stamp set packs an even better punch.

The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! Charming Sentiments stamp set and stamped using Tahitian Tide ink.

Tahitian Tide Baker's Twine was wrapped around the left side of the sentiment strip 7 or 8 times and tied in a bow.  The embellishments are Iridescent Rhinestones.

Inside the card is just as pretty as the outside (in my opinion).

Cut Your Cardstock - Dimensions:

Tahitian Tide Cardstock - Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

Basic White Cardstock - 4 x 5 1/4, Cut 2 (Inside card & card front)

Basic White Cardstock Strip - 3/4 x 5 1/4

Blushing Bride Cardstock Strip- 1 x 5 1/4

Project Tutorial:

Begin by folding the Tahitian Tide Cardstock base and burnish.  Set aside

On one of the 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White cardstock, using a strip of Post-It Tape or Masking Paper, place it across the center of the cardstock.

Next, choose three images from the Forever Fern stamp set.

Using Blushing Bride, Bermuda Bay & Tahitian Tide ink pads, begin stamping your images.  I stamped the larger leaf in each corner of the card and filled in with the other two images.

The dotted image was stamped using the three ink colors around the ferns & leaves.

Carefully remove the Post-It Tape or Masking Paper.

While you have all your stamps and inks out, now is a great time to stamp the envelope flap and on the second Basic White cardstock measuring 5 x 4 1/4.

Stamp the sentiment on the Basic White, to the right on the strip using Tahitian Tide ink.  (I used the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set).

Adhere this strip on the Blushing Bride cardstock strip.

Wrap 2022-2024 In-Color Baker's Twine (Tahitian Tide) around the left side of the cardstock strip around 7 or 8 times and tie in a bow.

Add dimensionals behind this strip and adhere in the center of the card, covering the blank space.

Adhere to card front using liquid adhesive.

Embellish with Iridescent Rhinestones.

Inside Card:

If you haven't stamped on the inside of the Basic White cardstock (5 x 4 1/4), do this now.

Stamp the sentiment using Tahitian Tide ink, in the center of the card.

Adhere inside card with liquid adhesive.
