Shimmery Trees Christmas Card

Today's card was created, as a member of the Design Team, at...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #653.

For my "Christmas" card, I used Stampin' Up! Frosted Forest Bundle, Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, Countryside Corners Dies, Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder & Gold Mercury Vellum Specialty DSP.

My card base is Basic White with another layer of Basic White which was embossed using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.

Night of Navy ink and a Blending Brush was used to lightly add color around the edges, which made the snowflakes really pop!

Gold Mercury Vellum was adhered along the bottom of the Basic White.  Night of Navy Glittered Ribbon added a nice touch of sparkle across the center of the cardstock.  This was then adhered on the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The Night of Navy was die cut using Countryside Corners Dies, embossed with the same embossing folder and with the White Craft ink, lightly pressed the pad onto the raised embossed areas so the snowflakes would show up more.

Two sets of trees were die cut using Frosted Forest Dies.  Wink of Stella was brushed on all the tree branches to add a little shimmer on the trees.

The sentiment (from Greetings of the Season Stamp Set) was stamped below the trees on the white space with Night of Navy ink.

The tree die cuts were overlapped and adhered on the die cut shape with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the ends trimmed.

The die cut shape was then adhered in the center of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Embellishments are Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.

Inside my card is a Basic White layer with a strip of Gold Mercury Vellum along the bottom.

The sentiment is from Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, stamped with Night of Navy ink.

And, I had to add this beautiful Vellum on the envelope flap!

Winterly Birds Inside Outside Flip Card

And the rain is here... thanks to hurricane Debby, dumping bands of heavy rain with lots of flash flooding warnings everywhere.

Perfect day to stay inside and do some crafting.

I created this fun fold Christmas card for the Creativate Summer 2024 Retreat using Stampin' Up! Winterly Tree Tops Bundle, Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Dies, Stampin' Blends Markers, Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty DSP & Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP.

I began with a Garden Green card base and DSP layers from the Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty DSP and Season of Green & Gold Specialty DSP.

These are such beautiful papers!  A must have for your collection.  

The circle was die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.

The image was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Crumb Cake, Poppy Parade, Wild Wheat, Basic Black, Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow & Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers.  The image was die cut and adhered on the circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The sentiment is from Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, stamped with Poppy Parade ink.  The stamps were then taken off the stamp block and placed on the stamped images.  With a pencil I traced lightly around the stamp and fussy cut.  Color was lightly added around the edges with Garden Green ink and a Blending Brush.  The sentiment was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Linen Thread was tied in a bow and adhered on the branch with a Mini Glue Dot.

Wink of Stella was brushed on the berries.

Iridescent Foil Gems are the embellishments I chose for my card.

This is the card opened up.  The sentiment was stamped with Poppy Parade ink.  The wreath was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Old Olive, Mossy Meadow & Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends Markers.

And, as always, DSP was adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.

Gate Fold Explosion Birthday Card

It's been quite stormy with hurricane Debby bringing bands of rain off and on and the worse is coming on Thursday, dumping even more rain!

Rainy days are perfect for crafting... and taking naps!

My card was created for the Creativate Summer 2024 Retreat which was held on July 26 & 27, 2024.  I look forward to each retreat!  Get ready for the next one October 25 & 26, 2024.  You won't want to miss all the fun and laughs at the live events, learning new fun folds, tips and tricks along the way!

For my "Birthday" card, I used Stampin' Up! Cake Fancy & Simply Said Stamp Sets, Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP & Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder.

I began with my card base using Basic White and layers from the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP.

This is the card standing up, without the belly band.

Here's the card closed and the belly band beside it.

The belly band has a die cut from the specialty DSP and I simply stamped the sentiment in the center (from Simply Said Stamp Set) with Pretty Peacock ink.  Tinsel Gems Four Pack embellishments were added along with a small bow tied with Linen Thread.

The inside panels of Basic White were embossed using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder.

The sentiment is from Cake Fancy Stamp Set, stamped with Pretty Peacock ink.

The two leaf branches are from the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP.

DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.
