Libby's Craft Studio: To My Valentine Card

I have another Valentine's Day card to share which was created for the...

SUOC Challenge #344.

For my "To My Valentine" card, I used Stampin' Up! Adoring Hearts Bundle, Most Adored Specialty Paper & Gold Foil Sheets.

Basic White cardstock was used as my card base with an additional layer of Basic White and Most Adored Specialty Paper.

The sentiment was stamped with Real Red ink.

Below the sentiment, Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (Gold) goes across the seam of the DSP.

The hearts were die cut from the same DSP.

To achieve the strands of ribbon, the Basic White Herringbone Ribbon was cut along one edge and the strands pulled apart until you have several wispy strands.

The floral heart was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Soft Sea Foam and Real Red Stampin' Blends Markers.

The center heart was die cut using the Adoring Hearts Dies and adhered in the center of the floral heart with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stampin' Dimensionals were added behind the floral heart and the wispy strands of ribbon were adhered behind the floral heart, randomly, looping some and leaving some strands. If there were any longer strands, I snipped them off, then adhered the floral heart onto the card.

Inside my card is Basic White with a 1" strip of DSP along the right and the sentiment stamped with Real Red ink. The remaining hearts were adhered just above the sentiment.

DSP was also adhered onto the envelope flap and trimmed.
