I have another Valentine's Day card to share today which was created for the...
TGIF Inspiration Challenge #457.
For my "Just for You" Valentine card, I used Stampin' Up! Bee My Valentine & Adoring Hearts Stamp Sets, Adoring Hearts Dies Hybrid Embossing Folder, Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder, Re-inkers, Baby Wipes, Most Adored Specialty DSP and Gold Foil Sheets.
I began with my card base using Flirty Flamingo cardstock. Next is a layer of Basic White followed by another layer of Basic White. The background of this layer was created using baby wipes and re-inkers.
Simply add re-inkers onto baby wipes, using a baby wipe for each color used. Brush the baby wipe over the cardstock. I decided on the straight lines.
Then the cardstock was embossed with Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder.
The sentiment is from Adoring Hearts Stamp Set, stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink and die cut with Adoring Hearts Dies and adhered with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
The DSP along the bottom is from Most Adored Specialty DSP.
From another Basic White that was "colored" with the baby wipe technique, I die cut the hearts and leaves/flowers.
Two additional leaves were die cut from the DSP. The heart outlines and the leaves were die cut with Gold Foil Sheets.
Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon was wrapped around the card, over the seams. Three of the Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins (gold) were adhered onto the ribbon.
The sentiment is from the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set, stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink.
A DSP strip was adhered along the bottom. Three additional hearts were adhered to the right of the sentiment.
The Gold Foil outlines were adhered onto the die cut hearts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
All of the leaves/flowers were adhered behind the hearts with Mini Glue Dots.
Linen Thread was double looped into a large bow and adhered behind the hearts and adhered onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
DSP was also adhered onto the envelope flap and trimmed.
