My fun fold card for today was created for our November Team Swap.
As a team member of A Stamp Above, we get to participate in Card Swaps each month. This is such a fun way to give and receive! Make the number of cards required and you receive that many different cards back! You can then use the cards you received to give back to friends and family members or re-create your own using your favorite card design and Designer Series Paper!
The Corner Pop-Up Card was so fun to create! Lots of die cutting, but still fun!
For my "Deck the Halls" card, I used the Stampin' Up! Festive & Fun Stamp Set, Christmas Classics Bundle, Magical Meadow & Joy of Noel Dies along with Joyful Specialty DSP and Gold Foil Sheets.
For the card base, I used Thick Basic White cardstock with the panel layers using Basic White cardstock and Joyful Specialty DSP.
This is how the card looks from above. Two coordinating layers of Joyful Specialty DSP were adhered only on the two back panels.
The pop-up mechanism is created by die cutting two circles using the 2" Circle Punch.
DSP was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the envelope flap and trimmed.
The background and sentiment square are from the Joy of Noel Stamp Set, die cut with Basic White Cardstock.
The branches and leaves are from the Magical Meadow Dies and were die cut using Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Old Olive cardstock and Gold Foil Sheets. The were adhered behind the sentiment piece and adhered in the center of the background die cut with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Christmas Classics Stamp Set, stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink.
The tiny embellishments in the lower right corner are Loose Holly Gems & Sequins. I adhered the two holly leaves along each side and die cut the berries using Cherry Cobbler cardstock and adhered three over the corner of the leaves.
On the back of the pop-up card, I layered the panels Cherry Cobbler cardstock with Basic White.
The leaves pine leaves were stamped with Old Olive ink and the Holly leaves using Shaded Spruce ink. The sentiment is from the Festive & Fun Stamp Set, stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink.
