Libby's Craft Studio: Thinking of You Slimline Card

Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #394.

For my slimline card I used the Stampin' Up! Playing in the Rain Bundle along with Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set and the Countryside Inn DSP.

I used Basic White Cardstock for my card base, measuring 8 1/2 x 7, score at 3 1/2.

The layers are from the Countryside Inn DSP.

The sentiment is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, using Misty Moonlight ink.

Silver Trim was wrapped around the DSP layers and tied in a knot below the sentiment.

The DSP layers and sentiment were adhered with dimensionals.

This cute little turtle was stamped with Memento ink and colored using Ivory, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow & Boho Blue Stampin' Blends markers, die cut and adhered with Dimensionals.

The grass was die cut from Lost Lagoon Cardstock and adhered behind and in front of the turtle.

The flower was brushed with Wink of Stella and a single In Color Dot was added in the flower center.

The clouds were stamped with Memento ink and die cut. I used the Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends marker to outline along the left side of each cloud and adhered with adhesive.

DSP was added on the Slimline Envelope flap.

I decided on something different for inside my card and had fun designing this! I used another layer of Basic White Cardstock.

The sentiment is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, inked with Misty Moonlight and cut at an angle between each set of words. Next, I mat each of these onto a darker DSP so they would show up better and not blend into the background.

I thought it would be a fun idea to line up the angle of the sentiments along the left edge of the cardstock.

The flowers were also stamped with Memento ink and colored using Balmy Blue, Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath & Old Olive Stampin' Blends.

Then I added a 3/4" strip of DSP along the bottom.
