Libby's Craft Studio: Absolutely Amazing Cheerful Daisies

A Stamp Above Creative Group May Sketch Challenge

A Stamp Above Creative Group is a member's only group to share creativity and inspire each other.

For my "Absolutely Amazing" card, I used the Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Bundle & Color & Contour Stamp Set along with Countryside Corners Dies and Countryside Inn DSP.

For my card base I used Boho Blue Cardstock followed by Night of Navy Cardstock and adhered to the card front with dimensionals.

Card measures 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2.

On the Vellum, I used Night of Navy and Azure Afternoon Stampin' Blends markers to color the Vellum and sprayed with Isopropyl Alcohol. After a few seconds, I moved the vellum around so the colors would blend, then heat set to make sure it was completely dried.

Finally, I used the Countryside Corners Dies to die cut the shape and tuck under the DSP strip on the left.

The daisies were die cut from Basic White cardstock. Using Blending Brushes, I colored the leaves, flower centers and tips of each daisy using Lemon Lolly, Parakeet Party & Azure Afternoon inks.

The daisies were adhered onto the card front with dimensionals.

Embellishments are 2023-2025 In Color Dots.

The sentiment is from Color & Contour Stamp Set, stamped using Night of Navy ink, die cut and adhered with dimensionals.

Boho Blue Textured Ribbon was wrapped around the front of the card, covering the seams where the two DSP meet.

Wink of Stella was added in each of the daisy centers for a little sparkle.

DSP was also added on the envelope flap.

Inside my card is Basic White cardstock with a 3/4" strip of DSP along the right. A leftover strip of colored Vellum was tucked behind the DSP.

The flowers were stamped 2nd generation (which means that I inked the image, stamped on a scrap piece of paper, then stamped onto the inside of the card for a lighter image) using Boho Blue ink and the sentiment stamped using Night of Navy ink.
