Lots going on with lots of July 4th festivities and my son's birthday. We watched the fireworks, which is always a fun time. I made a red, white & blue fruit cake, which was delightfully yummy with all the blueberries and strawberries.
Now for my fun fold "Friend" card, which I originally completed for a challenge, but decided on something else.
I used Stampin' Up! Flowers of Beauty Bundle, Country Birdhouse Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes Dies, Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP, Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder & Wink of Stella.
Lost Lagoon was used as my fun fold card base, with layers of DSP from the Frames & Flowers Specialty Pack.
The background Basic White was embossed with Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder.
The flowers were stamped with Petal Pink ink and Pretty Peacock ink and die cut. Leaves were die cut from Lost Lagoon. The solid leaves were stamped on Lost Lagoon with Lost Lagoon ink and die cut.
The small flowers were die cut from Petal Pink.
Once I had everything arranged to my liking, I adhered the leaves in place. The flowers were adhered together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Baker's Twine Essentials Pack and Linen Thread were tied in a bow and adhered behind the flowers. The flowers were then adhered on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set, stamped with Lost Lagoon ink and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.
Wink of Stella was brushed on the flower centers and also splattered on the entire card front.
Iridescent Foil Gems were adhered in the center of the Petal Pink flowers.

On the right, DSP was layered with Basic White. The leaves were die cut with Lost Lagoon and the flowers with Petal Pink. I adhered just the top of the die cut in the lower corner.
All of the tiny Petal Pink flowers were given a little texture by using my Scoring Stylus and Silicone Mat and circling the Stylus in the center of the flowers, which lifts up the petals.
DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.
