As a member of the Design Team at Try a Sketch on Tuesday, I get to create cards based on each sketch. You all know how much I love sketches!
I created this card for the #TSOT646 Challenge.
My "Sending Love" card uses Stampin' Up! Country Flowers Bundle along with Country Lace DSP.
Smoky Slate was used as my card base with the next layers Basic Beige and Country Lace DSP.
After adhering the DSP to the Basic Beige, a piece of coordinating DSP was cut to approximately 3 1/2" x 7" and adhered at an angle, trimming around the edges.
The teapot and flowers were stamped with Memento ink and colored with Granny Apple Green, Misty Moonlight, Pool Party & Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Markers. Both images were then die cut.
An additional set of leaves were die cut with Pool Party and adhered behind the flowers.
The flowers and teapot were adhered on the center square with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink and trimmed close to the edges then adhered with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Linen Thread was doubled up and wrapped around the teapot handle and tied in a bow.
Wink of Stella was brushed on the flowers.
For the embellishments, Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls finish off my card.
Inside my card is DSP layered with Basic White. A scrap piece of DSP was adhered in the upper corner.
The flower image was stamped with Memento ink and colored the same way as the flowers on the front of the card.
DSP was adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.
