Love Every Moment Scrapbook Layout

Soul Scrappers posts various challenges each month on Facebook.  One of the challenges is "Mystery Bag" with different requirements each month. 

For the month of February the challenge is to use at least 6 hearts on your page.

This is what I created using Stampin' Up! Everyday You & Me & Elements of Text Stamp Sets, Hearts of Elegance Dies, Everyday Happiness DSP & Everyday You & Me Scrapbook Workshop Kit.

My background is Lost Lagoon with DSP from the Everyday You & Me Scrapbook Workshop Kit.

I randomly stamped the background with images from Elements of Text Stamp Set using Lost Lagoon & Pretty Peacock inks.

The large heart behind the photo was die cut using two dies together to create this fun outline heart.

The photo was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The hearts were die cut from DSP using Hearts of Elegance Dies.  The larger heart was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the smaller heart with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The embellishments are Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio.

The page title was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink.

Additional hearts were added in the upper right of my page.  The smaller heart adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Double Scrapbook Layout

It's so much more fun now that Stampin' Up! has been introducing more scrapbook items.  And, even if you are not a scrapbooker, you can create beautiful cards with these kits as well.

I created this double layout for a sketch challenge that I host, as a Design Team Member, at Soul Scrappers on Facebook.  Every other month is a single page layout and the other months are double layouts or two-page layouts.

Soul Scrappers offers various challenges each month with prizes offered to one random winner for each challenge.  Why not join and check out all the inspiration!  Joining is easy.  You may even want to participate in a challenge or two.

Here's the sketch for February:

My layout is titled, "Ed Sheeran in the House"

I used Stampin' Up! Serene Love DSP as my base with White Willow layered on top.  

The white cardstock was stenciled using Blending Brushes, Linked Together Decorative Masks & Lost Lagoon ink.  Two torn DSP strips are layered together along the left.  

The die cuts are from Something for Everything Ephemera Pack.  The banner was colored with Night of Navy & Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends Markers so it coordinated with my layout.

The camera ephemera was also colored.

I'm SO glad the Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon is available as a Sale-A-Bration item!  Yay!

Two-Tone Sparkle Gems are the embellishments used.

Another torn strip of DSP is along the right.

My journaling tells about this momentous event!

Floral Birthday Card

 I created this card for...

Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #663.

For my "Birthday" card, I used Stampin' Up! Day to Celebrate Stamp Set (Sale-a-Bration), Spotlight on Nature Dies, Serene Love DSP & Star Struck Embossing Folder.

Night of Navy was used as my card base with a layer of Basic White which was embossed using Star Struck Embossing Folder (Sale-a-Bration).  The strip of DSP is from Serene Love DSP (Online Exclusives).

The circle was die cut using Spotlight on Nature Dies.  The flower was fussy cut from DSP.

The Night of Navy Glittered Ribbon behind the flower is retired, but too pretty not to use!

The sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy ink.

For the embellishments, I used Iridescent Faceted Gems.

Inside my card is Basic White with the sentiment stamped with Night of Navy ink.

Additional fussy cut flowers were adhered in the upper and lower corners.

DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.

Happy Hibiscus Thinking of You

I created this card for A Stamp Above (Kelly Acheson) January Team Swap.  Every month a different theme is set for the card swap, which makes it so fun!  Plus, when you receive cards back there is so much inspiration and ideas for you to create even more cards!  I really enjoy participating in these swaps!  It's great being a part of Kelly's (Stampin' Up!) Team!

The theme for January is: "Thinking of You/Get Well."

This is what I created using Stampin' Up! Happy Hibiscus Bundle, Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, Stylish Shapes & Everyday Arches Dies, Bloom Impressions DSP and Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder.

Coastal Cabana was used as my card base with a layer of Daffodil Delight and Bloom Impressions DSP.

The outline of the flowers were stamped with Memento ink.  The large flower was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink.

The leaves were die cut using Summer Splash.  Using a Blending Brush and Pretty Peacock ink, I added color around the edges of the leaves.

The small flower was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink.  The small leaves were stamped with Pretty Peacock ink for the outline and stamped off once onto scrap paper then onto the center of the leaves for a lighter image.

All of the flowers and leaves were adhered onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped with Coastal Cabana ink and die cut using Stylish Shapes Dies.

The background arch was die cut using Everyday Arches Dies and embossed with Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder.

The flower was stamped with Bubble Bath ink.

For the embellishments, I used Two-Tone Sparkle Gems.

Inside my card is Bubble Bath layered with Basic White.  A strip of DSP was adhered on the bottom.  The flower was stamped with Bubble Bath ink.
