Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge #695
Here's my Birthday card using Stampin' Up! Spotlight on Nature Bundle, Simply Said Stamp Set along with a retired SU stencil and re-inkers.
Basic White is my car base with another layer of Basic White, which the stenciling was created using Embossing Paste & re-inkers.
The Petal Pink flowers add a nice pop of color.
To create the background, I added a small amount of Embossing Paste on a Silicone Mat or your glass mat would be perfect. One or two drops of Re-inkers (Summer Splash, Soft Sea Foam & Shy Shamrock) were added to the Paste and mixed using the Palette Knives.
Adhere the stencil in place with temporary tape then begin adding the paste with the Palette Knife. I went at a diagonal with my colors.
The circled shapes were created using Soft Sea Foam & Summer Splash cardstock and Spotlight on Nature Dies.
The flower was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from Simply Said Stamp Set, stamped with Secret Sea ink, trimmed & flagged on each end. Gold Twisted Thread was looped behind the sentiment and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Inside my card is Soft Sea Foam & Basic White. The sentiment is from Simply Said Stamp Set, stamped with Secret Sea ink.
The leaf was colored with Summer Splash & Shy Shamrock Stampin' Blends Markers, fussy cut and adhered in the lower left.
