I created this card for...
Try a Sketch on Tuesday (TSOT) Challenge #662.
For my "Sending Lots of Love" card, I used Stampin' Up Hearts of Elegance Bundle, Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP, Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder & Gold Foil Sheets.
Real Red was used for my card base with a layer of Basic White which was embossed using Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder.
Using a Blending Brush and Real Red ink, color was lightly added around the edges of embossed Basic White.
The hearts were die cut from Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP and Gold Foil Sheets.
White Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon was wrapped around the DSP strip on the right.
The sentiment was stamped with Real Red ink. To cut around the sentiment, I cleaned the stamp and lay it, face down, on the sentiment and traced lightly around the stamp with a pencil. Next, I fussy cut on the lines and erased any pencil marks. Using a Blending Brush and Real Red ink, color was lightly added around the sentiment.
Gold Twisted Thread was looped twice and adhered behind the sentiment, and adhered on the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Inside my card is Basic White with a strip of DSP along the right. The sentiment was stamped with Real Red ink.
This beautiful DSP was also adhered on the envelope flap and trimmed.
